Survey Suggests Positive Year Ahead For Bridging Finance

Based on a survey carried out for United Trust Bank a few weeks ago, there would potentially appear to be a bright future ahead for the bridging lending sector over the next year. The survey was carried out with a number of brokers that arrange bridging finance for their clients.

Based on a recent survey carried out for United Trust Bank it is being predicted by a large percentage of brokers that arrange bridging finance that they expect to arrange more bridging lloans in the next 12 months than they did in the last 12 months

Of the brokers taking part in the survey, it was pleasing to find that a large percentage (68%) felt that they anticipated arranging a larger volume of bridging loans over the next year in comparison to what they have managed to do in the past year. Another interesting statistic was that an additional 26% of brokers felt that they would probably be arranging a similar level of bridging finance to what they had done in the same periods.

This is potentially positive news for the bridging finance sector and perhaps mirrors the feeling in the UK that the economy is well on the road to recovery. The more interest in this type of lending should help create an increasingly competitive marketplace. When this happens, it sometimes results in new, innovative products being made available that should be of benefit to the client.
